Winter can be a difficult season for children to appreciate, with its low temperatures and the ailments that often characterize it, but, apart from Christmas, which usually makes them very happy, there are many other ways to make them love this season...

At school we learn many rhymes or funny stories about winter, so that children get to know it and know that, like all seasons, it will just pass and that even in this period of the year there are many emotions to discover and exciting activities to do.

Our big Playschool garden in viale La Plaia certainly helps us with this, allowing all classes to spend a lot of time outdoors every day! Thus, the children learn to dress appropriately according to the weather conditions and, with great style, they also show off their waterproof onesie to play outside even when it’s drizzling.

Jumping in puddles, "cooking" with mud in the "mud kitchen", collecting fallen leaves and flowers and experimenting with ice and snow are just some of the tools we use which allow children to explore this season with enthusiasm.
